Rescue area

Glenelg Mountain Rescue cover the whole of Glenelg and Arnisdale peninsula up to Kinloch Hourn and part of Knoydart.

This area is:

90,000 acres – 35,000 hectares – 160 square miles

(to give an idea of scale – a hectare is approximately the size of a football field).
